Model of UNSW---cr. jingyj C.
Model of train---cr. anoymous
Model of timetable---cr. Chris H.

Two Concepts:
1. David AdjayeHis ideas are about light, airy spaces that were infused with a sense of vibrancy and were designed to draw the community in.
Insipired by this concept, a lot of curves has been used in the above part of station for conveying a sense of floating. The shelter part of station is combined by steel and glass which are light and flexible. The relaxing zone of below part also inspired from the same concept. The gap between each single steel structure lead the space to be more airy.
2.Teodoro Gonzalez De Leon: Everybody crosses the patio - everybody meets there
The whole station has been built a half-opened space. Especially the ground stair which nearly allowed people get into the station from every direction. In addition, each stair has been designed enough space for activity and relaxing.

The Theme: Multiculture
Straight line and curves, just like students and employes that have different background in UNSW, could be exist as a harmony community. The patio in train station also provide a place for communication.

EXP2--Week1. Axonometric

The No 1 goal of architecture is to create useful objects. We create useful objects for the city to experience them - but also so that those objects move us

In the 70's, I was interested in massive strong forms. Now I am more interested in the contract between those forms that give permanence and solidity, and something that gives them lightness and novelty.

Eclectic use of materials
Public buildings provide spaces that foster links and memory to people, and explore how neighbourhoods evolve.
